With an almost 9.000m² large exhibition stand, the car manufacturer Volkswagen presented itself from 12th to 22nd September at the 65th International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt.
The architectural centerpiece of the booth is the main stage with a 61m² LED-screen and a video controllable LED-floor, which is equipped with LED-tiles from Schnick-Schnack-Systems. From there, the so-called "Think Blue." walk runs along the cars.
The bottom of the booth was fitted with 730 of our LED-tiles C25. For the control system 3 of our Pixel-Gate Plus and 21 of our Power Supplies 4E are used. LED tiles are embedded in 27 floor panels that have been manufactured by Haigis and Schultz.
The special requirement for this project: the LED floor should be passable by cars, with only a floor plate height of 25mm.
