Studio of RTS Genf

RTS (Radio Télévision Suisse) is the public broadcasting for French-speaking audience in Switzerland. The aging technology of the studios of the Geneva headquarters was completely renewed in 2015.

This also includes a studio with 340m² of space to be used for magazine formats. Up to now current magazine releases have been produced in three studios, starting from 2015 only in the newly furnished studio.

The new studio was planned and installed by Despar Systeme AG. The goal was to select the technology for the studio in a way that changing productions in the studio can be handled quickly with minimal preparation time and personnel. Therefore, the use of energy-saving and sustainable lighting technology with state-of-the-art technologies was decisive.

The studio was also equipped with a CYCLO-LED backlight. The system allows a versatile design of the horizon with static or moving graphics, colour formations or video clips and enables thus saving even decorative elements.

Around 2325 LED strips C100-1000 from Schnick-Schnack-Systems were installed in the LED backlight.
