SWR-Studios

In 2011, the SWR built a new TV studio complex next to its broadcasting house in Stuttgart. The four new studios created here are used for live programmes and preliminary productions of the Southwest German Radio SWR. With this project, the SWR has taken a huge step towards a multimedia-based future.

The highlight in three of the studios: A backlit circumferential horizon opens up additional design prospects thanks to individually controllable RGB LED-Strips made by Schnick-Schnack-Systems.

In order to enable any desired homogenous and dynamic colour designs and projections with graphical and video contents, our LED-Strips C100 were installed in studio A 3360, studio B 2280 and studio D 921. More than 80 of our System Power Supplies 4E provide the power supply to the LED-Strips.
